Five Months

Geeesh, where has the time gone. It feels like yesterday that my mom and dad brought my yelling little self into the house and everything felt so strange. Well I soon sorted that out, I now have the entire household hopping to my tune, they realise where their bread is buttered I tell you.

So, now that I am five months old and not a newborn anymore I get to do all sorts of cool stuff. I play for ages on the playmat without anyone bothering me, and only when I cry do they put me to bed. Mom often takes me out in the car and I can sit in that car chair of mine for ages, I love to watch the traffic go wizzing bye and I have my best sleeps in that car. ohhhh, and I nearly forgot to tell you, these fingers of mine are absolutely fascinating. I can grab things and scratch and hold toys in my hands really well now, how cool is that?

Mom puts me on my stomach a few times a day for what she calls "tummy time" - Have you ever heard of anything so ridiculous? Why on earth would I want to lie on my tummy staring at a carpet , I ask you!! But, she does it and I put up with it for a while, but boy, as soon as I have had enough I yell so hard the neighbours come running!!!

There are these two boys living with us that mom says are my brothers. The older one, Daigan, is fascinating. He dances for me and plays with me and all I have to do is smile at him and I can see that he loves me so much. The other one, the little one, Aaron - I don't know so much about that one. Sometimes he will lie next to me on my mat, and once or twice he has even climbed into my cot to play with my mobile, but most times he just pretends that I don't even exist. But I do realise that it will take for him to realise that I am gorgeous and when I can walk and play with him, things will be better with us. Lately he has learned how to say my name - that's something isn't it?

Oh, and tee hee, last night my mom gave me porridge before bed time and guess what I did? I gave them the biggest fright of their lives and decided to sleep through without waking up for my 3am bottle. The previous evening I felt sorry for them and only slept until 5am. Should I make this sleeping through thing a habit? Mmm, I think I'll leave them guessing for a bit.
